Our Approach

Industry reporting templates and conventional cost-measures such as the Annual Fund Operating Expenses, Ongoing Charges Figure (OCF) or Total Expense Ratio (TER) represent only part of the investment cost incurred. Key cost categories, such as implicit transaction costs, performance fees, structural and portfolio level costs, are missing from these metrics.

Templates and ratios do not tell you where operational inefficiencies and cost leakages are causing avoidable underperformance.
